Jonathan joined the LMP team as an associate attorney in September 2023 to practice in trust and estate planning and administration, and in other probate matters. He grew up in Weston, Connecticut and attended Weston High School, going on to receive both a B.A. in Philosophy and B.S. in Psychology at UMass Amherst. After graduation, Jonathan interned and clerked at three different Connecticut probate courts– Westport-Weston, Norwalk-Wilton, and Stamford Probate Court jurisdictions– for a total of four different judges. His time working in the courts inspired him to get his J.D. at Vermont Law School, where he received an Academic Excellence Award in Mediation, served as Vice President of the Federalist Society VLS Branch, and worked as a student clinician for the South Royalton Legal Clinic – Family Law Project. During his second year, COVID struck making classes remote, so Jonathan temporarily returned to Connecticut to work as a probate paralegal at Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, LLC in Greenwich, working with estate and trust administration, litigation, and other probate matters.
After receiving his J.D., Jonathan worked as a trial court judicial law clerk for the Vermont Judiciary and got admitted into the Connecticut Bar. Now he has returned to his Fairfield County home to serve the community practicing probate law from the other side of the aisle. Outside the office, you can find Jonathan at the pool hall, skiing, or working on his car.
