BACK TO ATTORNEYS

Kevin J. Lennon

Of Counsel

Kevin returned to the firm in April 2016 following a year and half working as in-house legal counsel for a major commodity trading firm in the petrochemical industry. In his role as in-house counsel, Kevin gained invaluable commercial experience and he was routinely engaged in the negotiation and review of spot and term commodity supply contracts; establishment of mutual terms and conditions with customers; product contamination, shortage and force majeure disputes; non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements; providing legal guidance and counsel to management; and working with outside counsel for those disputes requiring litigation or arbitration. At the firm, Kevin is concentrating on continuing development of the firm’s core maritime and commercial litigation practices. On each matter entrusted to him for handling, Kevin develops an early understanding of the key facts and governing law to recommend an appropriate strategy to the client. When the matter cannot be resolved at an early stage, he keeps the client’s “bottom line” and business interests in mind at every step of the way. Where the matter must be fully litigated, including through all phases of discovery, a trial, appeal or alternative dispute resolution, he has the necessary experience to achieve outstanding results for the client.
